Cause

Founded in 2001 by Joyce Lam, Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre (vAct) first began as a community theatre and has since evolved into one of the most exciting diversity-mandated professional theatre companies in Canada. At vAct, we envision an inclusive and equitable human experience and are committed to cultivating stories from Asian Canadian perspectives to foster community. We play a unique role in Western Canada as one of the only professional theatre companies to consistently premiere new works by Asian Canadians.
